The skydancer doesn't say what she was very clearly thinking, which was that there were a lot of dragons — a lot of forestbound dragons, even and especially — that the clan leader was unaware of. The fae shakes her head.

The silks on the skydancer's forearms flutter with her elegant shrug. ❛❛I have no stake in this, Alleira. I only tell you what I see. He is heavily clothed in dark materials layered in leafy branches. He carries a bow and quiver. Occasionally, his forehead may glow — but she knows not the symbol.

With another sigh, the skydancer melts into the forest's shadows.

The forestclad fae flutters from tree branch to tree branch. His emerald eyes glint in the rays of the afternoon sun.
He stops before a willow tree, tiny claws gripping his perch. Her leaves whisper in the wind.

The fae taps the trunk of the willow tree. ❛❛Ado.❜❜
