Biography
Clan Role
Clan Representative for the Lightweaver
Cassiopeia, or Cass, as she prefers to be called, came to the Three Moons lair on a mission from the Lightweaver to act as interpreter of the Lightbringer’s will and word. She was hand chosen by her deity for this task, and she takes her job as seriously as her free-willed natured allows. When asked why she believes she was chosen by the Lightweaver for this task, she will often answer in shrugs and smiles, carefully concealing her extraordinary talents from all but the few closest to her. In fact, it was her abilities that caught the attention of the Lightweaver. While most Skydancer’s are sensitive to the energies and emotions around them, Cass’s skills are exceptionally refined. She can feel the apprehensions, desires, and intentions of most dragons who she meets, making her insight priceless in the effort to improve communications between light clans and their deity.
While her gifts helped her achieve favor with the Lightweaver, Cass often feels burdened by the overwhelming and constant input she feels from the dragons around her. It is impossible for her to silence the thoughts and images she receives and finding a quiet, reclusive place to rest is the only solution. Cass used to disappear for days on end, just so she could hear thoughts that were only her own and gather the strength to endure the throbbing headaches caused by the constant input. Her normally exuberant and playful personality was slowing slipping further away, replaced by fatigue and angst. She grew sad, her brilliant golden scales dimming as quickly as her smile. But, she loved her job and her Lightbringer, and no matter how much suffering she had to endure, she would persist if only for the betterment of light clans around Soreinth. Her suffering was not for long though, and she soon found her happiness and her home with the Three Moons clan.

Lore
Born to humble parents, and into a large and loving home, Cass’s history was filled with all the joy, happiness, and exuberance that shaped her youthful personality. Her family and clan were supportive of her abilities on her good days, and kind and gentle on her bad days when she was feeling overwhelmed. She had no complaints as a young dragon. Her life was simple, and she was thankful. After her abilities got her noticed, she left her home clan-with all of her family’s love and support guiding her- to train under older, wiser light representatives. She was happy to accept her role and upon graduating, she set out to all edges of light territory to serve her deity.
Cass she was not sent alone into the vastness of the light region. She was partnered with a Luminous Ambassador named Lumos. He served as an alliance forger, and her best friend. They grew closer, and he over anyone else understood the tole the job took on Cass. On her bad days, he would often scout out a quiet place for Cass to rest and recharge. As she rested, Lumos would record notes and stories into the Tome the two of them carried and set a course for the next lair the would visit.
During one of these rests, while Lumos leaned against Cass’s resting body in the cool, drying grass, the two were interrupted by a massive golden dragon with a most unfortunate scowl on his face. He was displeased to see two strangers so close to his lair, and while not unkind, he was determined to drive them off. But Cass could feel that his intentions were not to be discourteous, but to protect his growing family. She admired him for this.
