Sunny was eight months old when she came to this clan, but she has become very attached to her new family. She loves hatchlings and the small creatures of the world, and adores her familiar, Cahaya. Any dragon needing help will find a sure friend in this kind-hearted dragon.

She never felt like she belonged among the trickery and darkness of the Tangled Wood. As a hatchling, Sunny tried her best to fit in to that society, but after discovering the wonder of books for the first time she gave up and proceeded to spend her time engrossed in stories of the world beyond the shadow domain. Her parents and former friends grew exasperated with her behavior, and left her alone to do as she pleased. Although their abandonment was partly due to her actions, it still hurts her and Sunny half wishes she could have stayed the shadow dragon she should be by nature. Eventually she slipped away from her former clan, traveling to the neighboring region most opposite to her own, and found a home with the Lady of the Skies in the clearness of the Sunbeam Ruins.

She is good friends with Lyriana. The clan leader often comes to visit Sunny when the pressures of leadership weigh too much on her, and Sunny always gives her a shoulder to lean on and thoughtful advice. The quiet dragon is otherwise closest to Rohan, her son, with whom she shares a lot of her sweet personality. Sometimes she can be slightly overprotective, however, and she occasionally treats him more like a hatchling than he would like.
