Background:

Dryocampa sipped a cup of tea. Oh, how amazing it was to watch the Airship grow over the years, she thought to herself, smiling.

She did miss those who traveled through. She missed all the little hatchlings who passed through, especially the ones that grew up, settled in, and then travelled on.

She loved her role. She wouldn't trade it for the world. The times the nursery was empty were always the most bittersweet.

A clattering broke her out of her thoughts.

"Hey, give it back!" a colorful Obelisk screeched.

"I'm only borrowing it!" An orange Gaoler padded off.

Dryocampa smiled. There were some dragons who would never grow up, quite literally. At the end of the day, they'd call the nursery home, and show all the new hatchlings the ropes. They kept things lively nowadays.
