______ Her path was cleared for her. From the moment she was born her parents decided every moment of her life. They never bothered to ask her what she wanted. All that mattered was that she used her primal abilities, and as a Nature primal of course she was trained to become a healer.

Renewal hated it. She hated the stress. She hated the demand. She hated her thankless patients. Sure the healing part was easy due to her gift, but it's not what she wanted to do.

She didn't want to heal others. She wanted to study bugs.

She found them fascinating, and endearing. She loved the way they moved. She loved the buzzing of their wings. She loved how many shapes and sizes they came in. But she never had time to learn more than the basics about insects due to her duty as a healer.

But Renewal bit back any complaints she had and just did what she was expected to. She felt like it would have been selfish to quit her healing job just because of some bugs.

But one day as Renewal was gathering some herbs, she got caught in a wild fire and was burned to a crisp. But she didn't die. Like a phoenix, she was born again from the ashes.

After regenerating her memories were foggy. She couldn't remember much of her past, or where she came from. Luckily in her confused state she crossed paths with Grim, who gave her a place to stay as her memories came back.
