After fleeing from the clan he was born into, he has found a home with Alwen, his mate and protector. Lakkav adores small mammals, like the rabbits that he keeps and cares for. Heat, however, he can’t stand, so he tries to keep cool however he can. Burdened with Ice magic beyond his control, he has chosen instead to ignore his mage abilities to lead a quiet, peaceful life within the Brood's enclave. Lock generally only uses his magic to the extent of keeping himself cool, or cooling down items with a touch. He's too afraid of losing control to explore beyond that, having borne witness to his Primal-touched brother dying in such an incident in their youth. The Ice brand on his flank serves as a permanent reminder of his birthclan's fanatical dedication to the Icewarden, and lack of regard for its own members. Still, he cannot hold it back forever, however much he wants to simply care for the clan's small collection of non-meat-destined rabbits, along with helping tend to their less-lucky cousins. |
