Biography
Nobody's really sure when exactly Myrna became leader of the clan. Originally one of a few stray spirals adopted by a tiny family of renegade faes, Myrna quickly established herself as a spunky, erratic little hatchling with a constant flow of crazy ideas. Myrna became somewhat obsessed with tinkering, and quickly got to outfitting her clan's lair with a ton of pulleys, switches and other mechanical gizmos where she thought they were needed (or where she thought they'd look cool). Much to her parents' dismay, sap hidey-holes were quickly replaced with metallic platforms and coiled tunnels, and she quickly became a huge exasperation for the faes that had taken her in. Whether the renovation of the lair was the main motivation for her parents eventually leaving was debatable, although the fact remained unchanged- as the clan grew and the eventual move to the Water flight was eventually decided upon, the original small family of faes stayed behind in the Arcane territory while the rest of the dragons braved the crashing waves of the Tsunami flats.
As a leader, Myrna holds a somewhat of a go-get-em approach and rarely says no to an idea if it sounds exciting. A bunch of hatchlings want to venture into the Leviathan trench to look for shiny rocks? Go for it! An alchemist in the clan heard a rumour about a powerful new spell and needs to dismantle half the lair and get blood samples from every clan member to do it? Sure! While on the outside Myrna may sound like an absolutely terrible leader from this (and it's true that a few hatchlings do go missing from time to time), Myrna is actually incredibly smart and innovative in ways beyond gizmos and has a funny sense of wisdom beyond her mad-scientist exterior. While she takes a lot of risks and has suffered from them quite a bit, they pay off from time to time and make life in the clan exciting, if not necessarily safe.
