______ Valdis is, and has always been, a dragon of action. Even as a hatchling she was headstrong and clever, quick with her tongue and good with hey honeyed words. Most of the time it was used to gain her favors, but with age and wisdom came new ways of utilizing her skills. Despite her sweet words and thoughtful nature, she was an imposing sight, and it served her well, though she initially found it hindering. How can you talk to dragons if they run away from you, or stand there, tail between their legs?

______ As she set out to find her charge, following the tradition of her kin and her instincts, she roamed far and wide, always adding to her bag of tricks and her skills. She learned to fight with the brute force and viciousness of her peers, though her honeyed words stayed just as sweet. Years would pass and she grew older and wiser, gaining ever more new proteges who followed her on her journey, before she found her charge.

______ Her clan, a misfit group of dragons she had met on her travels, became her charge. The clan, in spirit and body, would be what she devoted her life to. Among her clan was another Guardian, standing taller and stronger than her, but ever so gentle with his big paws. Lazarus, through some series of events, had found her and her wandering clan, and realized that she was his charge. He neglected to tell her for several months, but she caught on, and confronted him.

Her charge is her clan, and the charge of her mate is the grounds which the clan lives upon. They work like a duo to make sure every dragon draws his or her load, and that rules and laws are followed correctly. Valdis is also the diplomat between her clan and others, while her mate works as the protector of the clan, alongside Cyrelian, Brynjulf and Laruthar.
