Once Curious, Now Blighted

To merely say this dragon has suffered would be an injustice. Florence has endured far more than any dragon in the Sanctuary at the hands of a group of crazed scientist from the Nature flight... no one knows anymore than that since the Bogsneak refuses to say more than about the incident.
Many moons ago, he used to be a pure silver dragon. He was often curious about the other elements, Nature being the one he was so fascinated by. It wasn't uncommon for him to wonder to the edge of the Gladeskeeper's territory and simply observe and take notes. He did this for weeks without incident.... however.... One day he never returned to the Sanctuary. He went missing for almost three moons until he was found at the edge of Rotrock Rim, injured with strange markings and runes on his left side and face. Paris was the one who found him and brought him back to the Sanctuary. For almost a week he did not wake, and was tormented with traumatic nightmares that haunted him until he finally awoke. Upon questioning, Paris was able to get a general idea of Florence's story and helped devise a potion to help him sleep soundly. She could do nothing about the blotches on his side however as she had not treatment methods. They just wouldn't seem to heal as all his other injuries had... Nearly a week later... it happened. Just as Florence thought he was recovering, that he would be alright, the blotches on his side and face burst open... As he screeched in agony, out bloomed succulents of many varieties. They stretched from the left side of his face all the way down his tail, a permanent reminder of the horrors he endured at the hands of the Nature scientists. |
Now Florence walks with a burning hatred of the Nature flight engraved into his very being. None blame him, as the succulent scars were a constant reminder of what Nature took away from him. His facial scars were so horrible that the Bogsneak covered them up completely, hiding the horrors behind a mask.
He no longer wishes to learn more about other places, he only wishes for their destruction instead. 
"All I wanted was to study.... observe... learn why we were so different... Why would they do this to me?! WHHHYYYY?!" -Florence
