The twins Adi and Ida were hatched from the same abandoned arcane egg that appeared in the clan one day. Larger than most dragon eggs the clan had come across, the clan doctor had been curious of its contents and decided to keep and hatch it. After the standard incubation period had finished and the egg was about to hatch, she put her ear to the slightly warm surface and heard the small pips and soft heartbeats of not one, but two small bodies about to hatch.

A day after it was expected to hatch, the arcane egg split nearly perfectly in two, revealing a dark mound of fluff. Initially, the two tundras were fairly weak and quite small, the larger of the two had beautiful light pink eyes, and the smaller, a darker, more mysterious pair. Within a day, their initially small statures had grown enough to catch up with others of their breed.

As they grew, their distinct personalities became clearer, the larger of the two preferred to sit and preen while her sister playfully danced around her. She would watch with her beautiful pale pink eyes as the other wrestled with the tail of their caretaker. The name Adi, meaning jewel, seemed perfect for her.
