Thornfrost is wild and untamed, much like his home, the dark forests of Shadow flight. At the same time though, he is a natural leader. He has a deep, raw, yet calming voice. He is the Alpha Sol of his clan, a small tribe which still follows the old ways, forgotten by most.

He has some contempt for "modern" dragon life. The contraptions of Lightning, the opulence of Light, and so on. Though he will still interact with civilization, should the need arise.
Sometimes that interaction involves thievery, subterfuge, and other such unscrupulous activities. It comes naturally to him, and he doesn't really see the harm in it. He has a very "every clan for themselves" attitude. If his actions make his pack stronger, then they can't be wrong.

He is fiercely loyal to his clan. Being their leader is a tough job, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

Under heavy stress, he would be compelled either to take charge or to fight his way out, depending on the situation. In the event that neither one of those solutions would help him, he can get worked up into having a bit of a temper. He doesn't like not being able to fix something himself, with his own claws. He also hates being told what to do. He has been Alpha Sol since he was a teenager, and has grown accustomed to commanding respect.

The only authority system that he sees as valid, is that within his own pack, and that of the gods.
