Biography
She always had a way with animals. They seemed to come to her, almost regularly. Even those in Beast Clan came to her for food, healing, and to regale tales of heroism. She seemed to enjoy hearing their talks, as well.
She was considered a great asset in the clan. Not for her strength or fierceness. She had none of those. But she could easily diffuse any sort of problem with the Beasts that may come knocking.
It allowed them peace, it allowed them a great sanctuary away from any of the battles that might have caused them harm. They all had heard stories of clans being torn apart by the greater creatures. But here? They were friends with the beast clans. They stayed off the territories unless it was winter and food was needed. But even then, many of the beasts came near during that time, and they all shared their bounties.
Saffora, herself, had no family. She was an abandoned egg and was taken in the clan. Many assumed she had rolled away from the nest. Perhaps even sustained some egg trauma. But that was not the case. Several dragons said that she was bound to be special, perhaps a gift from the Arcanist.
She was even an Arcane dragon to boot! This was great! As soon as she grew, she became their speaker. She became the one who kept the peace among the clans, and she became the one they relied on when all else failed.
They also considered her to be the matron of the nests. She took care of the youngsters and taught them the ways of a peaceful dragon. While they still learned to battle, they were also taught peace was one way to stop any misunderstandings.
These youngsters had her gifts passed down, learning how to speak the beast clan language, and the ways of their clans. Especially those who may have come later during the winter. Even the youngsters of the beast clan came to the hatchlings!
They all learned from her. They all learned both ways. She taught the young beast clan warriors how to live among dragons. How to accept them as their friends, not enemies or masters. Not only that, but even if they weren't beast clan, she proved they could be friends, and not any sort of master.
Life around the lair was perfect. It was peaceful. The dragons had her to thank. For she, she proved there could be peace in the world. That was all they needed, and that was all they were going to have.
