Biography

Long ago, a brave adventurer trekked the vast expanses of the ocean, hopping island to island in a great journey of exploration. Cunning, wise, and swift he was. He traveled the seas with fervor, diligence; a difficult task, for what he sought was happiness, and nary a treasure chest or siren's song could have his heart. In many years he grew old, with stiffened joints and a heavy heart, he settled upon the nearest island. He met a girl in the tribe's village, she led him by the hand so tenderly, taught him the language so patiently, and smiled so saccharine sweet; a soft glow warmed his chest and, finally, he smiled. In all his years of living, he had never felt this...happiness. Together, they brought many children into the world and unto the islands, one of the many being Kukulan. She grew up in a loving, accepting household- none of which were ever mean spirited about her slight impediment, stuttering, or eccentricity. Her papi cherished every single child, lavishing them in treasures and stories from his travels, telling them of his quest for happiness. Kukulan adored this idea, wishing to do the same, to be just like her papi! What a pleasant thought! So, once she grew of age by her own tribe's standards, she ventured out into the world; bidding a sappy farewell to her beloved family, she was soon sent off, traversing uncharted waters as her papi had once done himself. In the same fashion as Papi, she found something that made her happy- an abandoned baby on the shore. With a child she knew it would be a harrowing task to travel, and quickly sought to settle into a clan. Along her travels to her future home, Sunshine's camp, she met Valentino; although their relationship was strictly platonic (with benefits, and cute kissy claw-holdy stuff), they became near mate status, and raised Eokone together. Kukulan is a joy to be around, simple as that. She's charismatic, excitable, easily-impressed (seriously, you could show her a stick with a bug on it and she'd be all happy over it), fun-loving, and even a bit of a flirt! A very open mind, and a large heart, makes for an amazing friend. Though, she is a tad eccentric, her mannerisms- and way of going about things- are wild and over the top at times; she just doesn't take the simple way out! Despite this, it ends up being quite endearing and lovably quirky, often being summed up to "Classic Kukulan". Man, she is just one spontaneous, wacky, wonderful lady. She has an artistic streak in her which only serves to fuel her creative ways of completing something. Kukulan could chat for hours about nothing particularly relevant, but get her on the subject of "exploring" or "treasures" and you may be trapped for eons. She has an affinity for vintage, shiny, and tacky objects- and isn't stingy with sharing! Her den is cluttered by piles of stuff from her travels as is, and she has the heart to part with them for sure. Warm-colored tropical flowers are for sure the way to win her favor, she'll fall at your feet and thank you for days, often giving you something from her hoard in return. After all, she is the clan's scavenger. Her flaws lie in being semi-oblivious to serious situations, or instances where the others around her may not be as into what she's doing than she thinks. She doesn't mean anything by this, and often doesn't realize when she's doing it, though it can make her appear insensitive when she doesn't consider others' feelings like this. Kukulan dislikes confrontation, and will- very actively- avoid another person after an argument with them until it has simmered down, and been long forgotten. If you disallow her from doing this, the conflict gets solved a lot faster.
❀ Relationships ❀
A half hallowed tree lays in the way of a boulder, the hole in the trunk leading to a large divet- a dragon-made cave- in the large stone. The tree is decorated with brightly colored feathers, metal jewelry, and living flowers; broken clay vases lay up against the outside of the trunk, adorned in a similar fashion. The interior is deceptively large, most of the space being taken up with treasures and junk of various kinds. It is eerily similar to something you'd see on an episode of hoarders, not that as if any dragon would understand what that means, or get the reference. A large, salt-filled, searing rabbit pelt mattress lays where items don't, and looks quite comfy. Blankets are scattered everywhere except the bed, and overall every object looks out of place or messy.
