Personality

Yvette is a steadfast and stoic bounty hunter. Apart from her deadly skill with a bow and arrow, her glare alone could kill. She has a frigid ferocity to her, voice harsh like shards of ice scraping together and demeanor like a curled viper about to strike. Yvette hunts down every bounty and completes every job given to her without fail, but makes an effort not to make a mess out of anything that doesn't have to do with her bounty (and with that she is ruthless. Dead or alive, whole or mutilated, she always catches her quarry). Yvette has a strong moral compass and is honorable nearly to a fault. Yet she is also exceedingly logical and not the most empathetic – tending only to act if she thinks the outcome would be favorable.

History

Yvette is much larger than the average skydancer, and although she is built delicately – almost bone thin – that only makes the strength she wields all the more frightening. But the most striking part of her, and what makes others often refrain from looking at her directly, is her damaged appearance.

Yvette contracted a mysterious illness, and was the only survivor among her clan. Although she lived, the disease left her body scarred in a myriad of ways. It bleached her once rosy brown fur and feathers into chalky white and turned them patchy and brittle, much of them having fallen out now or growing unnaturally. Most noticeably though were the parts of her skin that had hardened and cracked – Bone-white and solid as stone. Although she has learned to live with it, the calcified flesh does hamper her movements, and on some days, can be downright painful.

Yvette is deeply insecure about her appearance in tends to distance herself from others because of it (along with her abysmal social skills) and gets restless if she stays in one place for long. She likes to stay busy and feel accomplished, not leave any time for herself to ponder over things she can never have.
