Wildpaw was born to two loving parents in the Cloudscrape Crags of the Southern Icefield on a summer morning. June is usually associated with warm weather and green trees, but in Wildpaw's birthplace, June was just as blisteringly frigid as mid-January. Here, among the mountains, there is an eternal winter that never shows signs of letting up. For Wildpaw, this was just normal life and he really didn't mind it at all. As a hatchling you could often find him wrestling with his fellow young denmates, rolling through the snow and compacting it farther as they went.
As his friends grew older, they each found a calling to pursue. Some found apprenticeships in trades within the clan, such as cooking, carpentry, and hatchling care. Others desired to serve their homeland deity, the Icewarden. However, Wildpaw always found himself staring off into the white expanse past the mountains near his lair. His Search was beginning and despite his parents' cries to try to convince him to stay in the lair, he could not hold back his instincts.
He found his Charge in becoming a soldier. Now, his life revolved around protecting the Southern Icefield from Talona and the endless onslaught of her beastclan army. At a full-grown weight of nearly 12 tons, Wildpaw was a formidable powerhouse on the battlefield despite his constant struggle to master his innate ice magic. Longnecks and Centaurs alike would be smacked aside and easily intimidated by Wildpaw's stature.
