- She seeks to collect treasure, but it is not her charge. She has, in fact, taken up her mate as her charge. No one is allowed to be involved with Arcanus without her in the loop, and Arcanus himself respects her duty, updating her on all the little things through a magic scroll. Valla carries this scroll on her person at all times.
- Her relationship with her mate isn't exactly lovey-dovey, and they're often away from each other for weeks or even months at a time. Despite this, they're very loyal to one another with little interaction required. They respect one another's lives and coincide with each other to renew their relationship in activities that formed their bond in the first place. Some dragons around them describe them more as friends than as lovers: mostly because they're both not quite so affectionate.

______ Valla is the thing that stalks the seas from edge to edge – a sail you don't want to see. A presence with the power to silence a tavern and ride the most devilish of waves is not the kind of soul you want to meet. Especially if you just so happen to be on the pointy end of her ambition. She is the deepest, blackest fog, whispered through ports when all falls silent. Some say you never even hear her ship pull into dock. Others report tangled bodies pushed apart with ease, skulls clanging together with monstrous force, and a voice of deep bellow to frighten even the beastly shade.

______ Valla is a legend, a gnarled, bone chilling pirate ravager used to scare the children of port towns into staying away from unusual ships. And at the same time, she is very, very real. However, there are some that claim that she hasn't always been such a violence-driven soul. Those people are wrong.

Valla has enjoyed the thrill of the fight from the first time she was in the thick of it. Strength and survival are what matter to her. However, she doesn't see strength only in the physical body, but in the mind and the heart as well. That may explain how she came to be with her long-distance lover, Arcanus. The two are about as far from one another as you can get. Arcanus, in all his calm and cool, a slight and slim frame better for bending at every angle to stuff his nose into a book; and Valla, the cocky and brutal, with a hulking figure to rival that of a ship's hull. But their story may be for another time.
