Yawar is a quiet dragon--in part because his voice has been taken from him. Not satisfied to simply trust in the forgetfulness of his kind, the Ethics and Rulings Council opted to have the tundra's throat pulled out long ago to keep him from sharing the secrets he is privy to in his duties as keeper of the clan's classified project archives.

So he goes about his work in silence, a smile on his face--and if it seems at all coy or sly, then perhaps there are those who would say it is because they were right.
