Despite Flann's best efforts, Pyrrhus still managed to follow his father into a life on the fringes of society. Flann gave his son the most he could, even managed to get him into school so he could hone his power, but Pyrrhus was never one for rules anyways. Not to mention his outstanding arson charges at the archives for accidentally lighting several books on fire while practicing. He probably could have avoided it if he hadn't mouthed off to the scribes when they came to question him, but he's also not big on authority.

Still, Pyrrhus is certainly happier here. He finally has an outlet for all of his magical energy, and he's not allowed back at the school anyways. Also for arson charges.
