Biography
~Ryulas and Alice‘s first hatchlings~
The eggs suddenly started moving. „Ryula! Quick! I think they are about to hatch!“
Ryula quickly rushed to his beloved mate Alice and sat down next to her. Alice moved to the side and both of them eagerly watched the rumbling eggs.
A few minutes later...
‚Crack‘
„One of the eggs cracked!“ Ryula shouted. He was so nervous. This is the first nest he ever had.
„Shhh. Be quiet dear. Don’t scare them.“ Alice said quietly and looked back at the green eggs.
‚Crack‘
The first egg started moving more and more and after a while you could see colorful feathers shining through the holes. Just a few seconds later the shell splitted! A beautiful Coatl boy layed between them.
„Oh wow he.... he looks like me!“ Ryulas eyes sparkled. He was so proud.
„Not exactly like you dear. Look at his belly. He is... beautiful.“ Alice moved closer to face the hatchling. He had python patterns all over his body and a sparkling dark green belly. „Hello there, cutie.“ She nuzzled the hatchling‘s nose. The small Coatl boy yawned and stared at his parents with his green eyes.
It didn’t took long for the other eggs to hatch. The three remaining eggs hatched almost at the same time! Three beautiful Coatl girls opened their eyes. „They all look like me!“ Ryula couldn’t hold back. He picked one of the girls up and held her in front of his face. „Welcome to Sornieth!“ He laughed. The Coatl girl squeaked and tilted her head. „Put her down dear.“ Alice laughed and layed back down next to the hatchlings. „Fine... but she’s so cute! They’re all so cute!“ Ryula set the girl back to her siblings and layed down as well, playing and cuddling with the small babies.
After a few hours all the hatchlings were asleep. „I can’t believe they’re leaving us so early...“ Alice said with a worried look on her face. „Don’t worry my dear. I am sure that they’ll find amazing new homes!“ Ryula said while putting a wing around his mate. „You’re right...“ Alice smiled as she watched her sleeping hatchlings.
The Coatl pair couldn’t be more proud.
