Curator of the Cosmoseum
Member of the Fae Wizarding Order

Charitable | Understanding | Dilligent
Curator of the Cosmoseum, a welcoming building of pink marble in the heart of the educational district of the Astrolodome. A library and museum dedicated to sharing knowledge of the celestial heavens, the Cosmoseum is a haven for those whose interests lie outside the world of Sornieth altogether; stargazers, scholars and astronomers, or just those who have a general enthusiasm for the wonders of the universe.

While Gestalt is a highly intelligent academic and a competent mage, it was his passion to bring the beauty of the stars to every day folk that led to his invitation to the Fae Wizarding Order, and eventual appointment of Representative of Arcane. The curator runs many non-profit activity and learning days for the local community, and he especially encourages younglings to join in, allowing them to use the telescopes, examine the artifacts on display, read any of the library's books, and most importantly: ask questions, which the patient fae always takes the time to answer.

Gestalt makes sure that there are events on every week at his establishment, with anything from Astronomy Club to poetry readings, and even coffee mornings for Friends of the Cosmoseum members. His schedule constantly full, the busy fae is often thinking of different ways to improve the museum and make it more accessible, and sometimes Gestalt's friends step in to allow him some time off. Zodiac, a close companion and fellow arcanite, travels to the Astrolodome every summer to take over the running of the Cosmoseum so that Gestalt can take a well-deserved vacation, though he always returns with an armful of new books and relics, and a headful of new ideas!

Fun fact: for no reason at all Gestalt is named after one of the main themes of 'Understand', by Ted Chiang.
