"One can never go wrong with a fez" ~Alto

Although he looks very fashion forward (Courtesy of Alto) and assertive (and rather handsome if I do say so myself, and I say so), he's actually very self aware of what he wears, and is rather shy. He became Felurayo's apprentice to be more extroverted, and talk to the rest of the clan more. He finds it hard to not just nod or shake his head when his parents ask him a question.

When Alto joined the clan, he thought she would stick to herself and her future family like all the others, instead she came over to him and Felurayo with a sparkle in her eyes, and a smile on her face. After a while she managed to convince him to wear some of her designs, with some prodding from Felurayo, he was surprised at the comfort and practicality of them. This one is his favorite.

Over time he developed a crush on her, and when Felurayo started getting busy, his nerves started coming up. He still has yet to confess.

In the end, them getting together was not Skyleap's doing, but Felurayo's. He had asked Skyleap how he felt, and to quote,
"No, do not tell me, write it down, you don't know who could be listening." And so, Felurayo took the finished letter, and dropped it at Alto's feet. Skyleap refused to move from his cave for days. When he was finally coaxed out, Alto said she had felt the same way.

They've been lovestruck ever since. It's basically Alto being cute and Skyleap blushing into a strawberry.
