Taken in as an egg, alongside his brother, Rhysand, Ami took a different route to Rhysand. Instead of learning combat and being appointed to one of the military divisions, he was taken in by one of the Master Mage's to study things within Sornieth and experiment with the different substances and items found within each territory.

Time has long since passed from his starting days as a mage for the clan, but Ami is content with his current position. Never longing for one higher than his, which the rest of the clan have commented on.

Faelan, Serafina, Veihnan and his brother have all went to him, claiming that he would be able to become more than a mere apprentice should he so desire as his mind is quite bright, but he declines every time.

He often goes to watch his brother or lounge around, watching others, in his spare time.
