his offspring Ragnar hatched as the clan's first light primal -- and unfortunately this only made his life, and theirs, a kind of hell. the zealous among the clan seized on this as a sign. Ragnar and their dad were hardly allowed to see one another as the young acolyte was instructed in their obligations.

for a long time, Shaoth left the clan to find his own troubled way. he lived in Fire, connected with his roots in Ice, and eventually landed in Plague. there, he happened across Splinter's familiar face among the Sojourn's party. that happy accident changed his entire trajectory, bringing him back into the fold of what, in his absence, became the Several Circles.
