Part of the exchange program, only Sky's mother was there to take care of her. She found a friend in Skyfall, who joined the clan shortly after Sky was born. They are frequently seen flying through the forest. When it's particularly hot out, Sky enjoys wading in the streams found all over the territory.

Sky showed an aptitude for magic from an early age, but she never felt free to practice it. After two hatchlings from her first nest with Skyfall showed magical ability, she decided that it was time to learn to use her magic instead of allowing it to sit dormant. When she approached Skyfall about her plan, he revealed that he, too, was magically gifted and offered to teach her what he knew. The two now oversee the Hidden Mages, a secret organization only for those who are magically gifted.

Sky was thrilled when Secret, one of Storm's first hatchlings, arrived, but she was very critical of the rest and ordered for them to be sent to far-away clans. Since then, Sky has ordered Storm to have eggs as often as possible in the hope that more magically gifted hatchlings will be born. As soon as the eggs are laid, Sky takes them away and raises them as her own. She evaluates each one for magical abilities, and when a hatchling shows that they are not gifted (which most aren't), she takes them to a far-away clan so that no one finds out about Storm's children.

When Viper approached Sky regarding a specific magical request, she was hesitant to agree to work for her. However, once Viper explained what she wanted, Sky couldn't pass up the challenge. She is directly responsible for animus-touching Viper and Alek's three eggs to become Aberrations - horrifying, two-headed war machines. Oillteil, Deatach, and Nathair all owe their altered existence to Sky. As a result of her spell, which required a great deal of magic all at once, Sky's physical appearance began to deteriorate. She wears many pieces of jewelry and other assorted decoration to distract followers (and, most recently, customers) from her appearance, but she herself doesn't seem to mind it and has even embraced it as the next step in her journey as a mage.
