One day while Hawthorn was on another one of his adventures he stumbled upon a baby dragon lying on the forest floor. The dragon looked no larger than him. It seemed to him that the lost dragon had been abandoned here. The small dragon was curled in to a small ball and covered with wounds. It seemed as though he had lost in a struggle. Hawthorn ran looking for the longest stick he could find to poke him. Hawthorn reached out with the stick and poked him lightly on the back. The dragon shot up, breathing heavily.... One day the a band of rogue dragons attacked their tribe and burnt it to the ground....
