Has completely infatuated...
Apogea missed the ocean sorely.
The waves, the salty sea air, the cool breeze... He'd fallen for it a long time ago. Fallen for it hard and quick. The waves washing over the cool sand, the light of the moon shining off its surface back into the heavens... What more could he want? Maybe it was the fact that he was a Water dragon.
Maybe it was because he was an emissary, forced to only get a glimpse of his homeland every once in a while before he was dragged back to lush greens. Not that he hated living with the Gladekeeper's children, but he was always a son of the Tidelord at heart.
Apogea's heart ached seeing him. The unmistakable blood color of his eyes was offputting, though not discouraging. He reminded Apogea of the ocean. His scales were reminiscent of sea foam washing up on a shore as the waves pulled away.
The Spiral had almost thrown up from nerves as he approached the Imperial resting in the cave by the sea.
He stood a distance away, internally debating on what to do. He looked too peaceful to disturb... but his heart and mind were collectively yelling at him to go, go, go! And hey, Apogea's never been one to ignore signals like that.
By the seaside cave, hidden from the moon's prying gaze, Apogea stumbled over his words as he introduced himself. Gods, he was embarrassing himself terribly. But his embarrassment proved to be fairly successful.
Plus, it was worth it. Apogea was planning on getting closer to Nzoth. If not as a partner, then as a friend. He missed the ocean too much to just... let him go. He missed the cool breeze. He missed the cool water. He missed the warm eyes. He missed the ocean.
