Unlike some members of the clan, Yammy doesn't tend to share any interest in things related to any hatchlings that may have shown in the lair unless they're bound to be a permanent member, knowing that most born in the lair are bound to leave it someday. He prefers to be outside of the lair and not have the walls of it around him, like most Snappers. However, he can be spotted standing in one place or lying in one place at any given time, unlike other Snappers and their constant movement, and doesn't care to give an encyclopedia's worth of information for a simple question he could answer with three words.
He acts as a guard both night and day, since he doesn't sleep, as Snappers normally don't, and tends to prefer to stay near the lair's entrance. If he wants to know if anything's going on in the lair or about something that's been going on, he tends to go to Ulquiorra about these questions when the Skydancer finally emerges from the lair alone, which isn't until nighttime, as his daytime leavings are only ever toward the Coliseum with whoever his team is that day. He prefers asking him over any others because of the silence that comes with the almost-nocturnal Skydancer. It's a characteristic that means he's more likely to keep to himself and not mention Yammy's questions to others than most of the other clan members, and the details and observations he can divulge, what with being the best eyes in the clan, are always enough to answer the questions at hand.
