A rather troubled young spiral whose existence is uncertain. Thanks to an accident, this spiral is neither truly dead nor alive. They live a lonely existence, shifting between realities at random and constantly forgetting where they are. But thanks to Adrienne's antics, perhaps his unfortunate condition can be put to good use with the help of the rebellion...?

Years ago, the spiral was killed in a bad magical accident. His mother, in grief, begged a necromancer to revive him. While the necromancer tried their best, they could only bring the young spiral halfway back from the realm of the dead, leaving them stuck permanently between life and death. For the rest of his life, the ghosts of the dead would cling onto him, coaxing him into returning to his rightful place. But he cannot return, for he does not truly belong anywhere anymore.

In the darkest streets of Kaito where even the stray rays of sunlight refuse to wander lives a peculiar spiral. His eyes are obscured by a heavy ghastcrown. Small, amorphous wisps latch onto his wings, whispering bizarre things into the spiral’s ear. Sunlight flees with his step, refusing to touch his scales for even a moment. Looking at this dragon in front of you; do they even exist? It feels like if you edged closer and reached out your claws, you’d blink and they’d be gone. As if they were never there.

Thanks to an accident that happened years ago, the spiral is permanently stuck between the realm of the living and the realm of the dead; he is neither dead or alive, neither real nor nonexistent. The spirits of the dead cling to him, trying to coax him into the afterlife. He could not go to such a place even if he wanted to; the spiral is technically not deceased.

Such a state is unpleasant to be in; the spiral’s senses are constantly muddled, and it is not uncommon for them to wake up in a dark, endless domain that exists between the world of the living and the dead. He is constantly exhausted and confused. Their hands seem to phase through objects at random, and other dragons sometimes cannot perceive them. Those who know them seem to completely forget about them at random. It’s a lonely, difficult way to exist.

However, there is one benefit to their odd “ability”: Adrienne is notorious for figuring out just about everything that enters and leaves the clan. It seems like she can keep tabs on just about everyone; well, everyone except a dragon whose existence varies by the day. Adrienne is aware that there is a peculiar spiral living around Kaito, but neither she nor her scouts have ever seen them in person. As a result, the spirit has gotten away with many things that Adrienne would consider extremely suspicious (though most of the time it was unintentional), including entering and leaving the clan without permission, getting into top-secret files, and somehow getting into the Angel's Sanctuary's hidden chambers.

By pure chance, Arturia happened to see the spiral enter the Angel's Sanctuary's hidden chambers by moving through the wall like a ghost. Intrigued by their odd nature, Arturia spent weeks attempting to find the spiral, even completely forgetting about their existence at once point. But eventually, Arturia caught up to them in a café. The two struck up a conversation (which scared some of the other guests because some of them couldn't see the spiral), and Arturia ended up inviting them to the rebellion. The spiral, hoping to be freed from his predicament, accepted and followed Arturia to meet Alnair.
