Cave Gecko 		Merlin had, quite frankly, never exactly fit in where he was from. Always absorbed in bizarre concoctions- mixtures of this, that, and the other that he was always trying to convince others to imbibe- no one much wanted to talk to him. Honestly, that was fine with the quirky fellow, though when odd glances and sinister whispers were directed his way he decided it was time to move on.

It wasn't until he happened upon the Lair of Second Chances that he found a place that allowed him and his crazy little experiments. Shockingly enough, they seemed to do more than that- it was encouraged and, sure enough, when he found success in his work it was utilized throughout the clan. His roots weren't truly set until Merlin met another traveling dragon that had been passing her time among the other dragons. Geode, a curious healer in nature, soon expressed her own mutual interest and the two decided their paths were set.

Quirky, eccentric, unorthodox, and every synonym inbetween. Merlin is often in his own world, oblivious to the thoughts and feelings of others while he's caught up in new ideas. Gentle in nature, his intentions are good even if he doesn't exactly seem "all there".
