xxx Rumbrave, raised Uyuel, has always been of a particularly creative sort. His family hails from across the world, widely varied in breed, coloration, and element. This family of Rumbrave's is one of performers, of artists, bards, and of wanderers of many creeds. Rumbrave himself was born to this troupe in the far north in the Viridian Labyrinth, where Rumbrave spent much of his early life. Rumbrave's show of choice was music, particularly epics. Weaving tales of heroes, villains, and everything in between was in Rumbrave's blood. His storytelling was the tale of many a story of their own.

Rumbrave met a young Spiral whom he became grand friends with back then. Enamored by Rumbrave's stories and his wonderlust for all things, Boomslang took a liking to Rumbrave. They were inseparable soon enough. Friends fit to die together at the end of time, they had thought back then. Life moves on, of course, and Rumbrave's family did as well. Traveling south, the troupe left the jungles behind for swamp and marsh. Boomslang tagged along with Rumbrave, running from her own family in the process.

The two started their lives anew in every place they came upon. Antics, pranks, and campfire jam sessions. Boomslang wasn't much of a music maker herself, but she was fond of listening. She could get into her fair share of trouble with Rumbrave, which made the two a menace of sorts. However, it wasn't until they had found themselves in the Scarred Wasteland did they find the final piece of the puzzle that was their lives. They met a young Plague Tundra by the name of Longmire. Naive, lonely, and ambitious.

The three got along like fire and coal. Together, they formed a tri of tribulations for their families. Rumbrave, of course, revelled in that sort of drama. Rumbrave had decided that the three of them would never forget each other, that they would be together forever. Even as Rumbrave's troupe disappeared over the horizon, Rumbrave laughed and grinned with his companions. They were his life, and they were his reason to keep going. What good were songs and stories if he couldn't make a few with someone.

It was then that they struck their pact. A pact of blood and of pride. The names they had given each other would then be law between them, and their companionship would never break for as long as they had breath to spare. Rumbrave, Boomslang, and Longmire, heroes of their own story.

Time has a way of wearing out such pacts, though. As time went on, Rumbrave grew up. His companions did too. Rumbrave found himself drawn to the rigors of the Vanguardian battlefield. There, he could chant and sing and yell out the stories of old and now. Rumbrave the bard would bring some measure of peace to soldiers driven near to death by their own sins. Even though not all the stories are his, Rumbrave finds that he has experienced every one of them in his own way, and he toils every day trying to bring the feeling of awe and pride to those around him. Sometimes Rumbrave wonders how he had strayed so far from his friends, but then he remembers that they will never be strangers and feels a little better.

Or at least he hopes they never will be.
