the spark ; clan warrior | mate ; ciryc
nothing says "rebellion" like speaking against the deity that protects your clan. this is what hettir chose to do when he was much younger. his former clan spewed needless, incessant blather about how great the arcanist was. in his studies, he learned about the events that took place ages ago and was enraged with the lies his clan spread. he spoke out, voicing his opinion, and was promptly (and violently) exiled.

furious, the young imperial cleaned his wounds and then flew off, never to be seen in the starfall isles again. seeing as it was the nearest territory to his former homeland, he landed in the wandering contagion and forced himself to adapt. he hardened himself to the diseased air by over exposing himself to it, even at one point daring to approach the wyrmwound. the sickness made him gag, and he felt his skin begin to crawl. with his last remaining strength, he took off and flew as fast and as far as he could. fortunately for him, this meant flying over silver scourge territory.

in his desperate attempt to flee from the plague that clawed at him, he recklessly slammed into a certain skydancer named ciryc. the two tumbled to the ground and once they recovered, hettir begged for help. ciryc begrudgingly agreed, and took the imperial back to the rest of the clan. his illness was treated and he quickly grew an immunity to the sickness that clawed the land. he trained up, and now acts as a mighty warrior that protects the clan.
