Phobetor spent most of his nights on the run wandering around the darkness in search of new victims to torture, his little buddies the fireflies inform him of trouble for those who are on the hunt for him. There was only one dragon that drew him in like a moth to a burning flame, and she was his one weakness. Hecate's special rune markings gave her an edge on always knowing when Phobetor was nearby. As his fireflies get close to her to study her on the move, her runes start to glow alerting her of his location.

One day Hecate's heavenly light drew him in, instead of capturing him and throwing him away for every dragon's safety, she noticed a shift in his energy. His frozen heart and hatred of joy dissipated, but only if she was near him, his darkness would stay contained and at bay. However, any time he was without her for too long his heart would start to freeze back up and darkness would return no matter how much he tried to fight it for her sake. He was lost without her.
