Since he was a hatchling, Rhett always dreamed of becoming a pirate. For many years strove towards that dream, until finally an opportunity presented itself. A gang of pirates, looking to recruit new members after their crew had mostly been killed off by rival gang, allowed him to prove his worth. They found him to be an acceptable candidate. Rhett quickly rose to the top of their ranks, eventually killing the captain himself for traitorous behavior after the captain tried to run off with the crew's bounty. Rhett, of course, became the new captain.

Kurozome is the clan's top fisherman. He is in charge of catching seafood, and bringing it back to the fish-loving members of the clan. While he's out on the sea, he likes to pretend he's a pirate.
At the Greenskeeper Gathering Festival:
The clan had a lot of fitting candidates lined up, one for each night of the masquerade. However, everyone was startled when they saw that the spot was already filled for tonight. "Who entered?" they asked each other. To their surprise, they found out it was Kurozome!
"I'm a PIRATE KING!" he shouts to the world. "FEAR ME!!"
