Her Life: Then and Now

Aqueous is a strong, stubborn dragon who is set in her ways. Her home life as a dragonet was not ideal. Her parents never seemed to be around when she desperately needed them and when they were at home, they were fighting with each other. Usually about Aqueous. Her biggest dream in life was to join a royal family and maybe become Queen of Frigid Clan. Of course, her father thought it was the most absurd dream she could possibly think of and wrote her off as a waste of a dragon life. On the other talon, her mother thought it was noble of her to want to become Queen. When anyone asked young little Aqueous why she wanted to be Queen, her answer was, “I want to help other dragonets who don’t have everything they need in life.”

Alas, Aqueous came very close to becoming Queen. Closer than she thought was even possible. But with a twist of fate, she instead joined the military thanks to her father secretly enrolling her for the position. Without her knowledge of this, she was sent to the palace to learn battle skills instead of table manners. It turns out fighting other dragons to the death was much more suitable to Aqueous instead of dressing in frilly gowns and attending parties that could have fed all of the homeless dragons outside the Palace walls. Aqueous was recently given the position of Second Commander, making her in charge if General Quail is out on a trip of some sort. She absolutely loves it.

Family

Despite signing his daughter off into the army, Aqueous’s father loves his daughter deeply and enjoys her visits during the holidays. Aqueous is still unaware of how she was picked to join Frigid Army but she really doesn’t care. She loves what she does and that’s all that matters. As for her mother, their bond is indestructable. Aq loves her mother deeply and inspired to keep her head above water no matter what personal struggles she may be dealing with. Aq takes pride in her heritage and won’t stand for anyone insulting her ancestry at any cost.

On the other spectrum of the meaning family, Aq doesn’t know how to confront her feelings towards a certain dragon she as fallen for. He is tall, dark and quite handsome in her book....turns out her crush is General Quail himself. She KNOWS she shouldn’t like the exact dragon who she must take orders from but she couldn’t help but realize what an amazing dragon he truly is. As for having dragonets, Aq is gonna hold off on that front for as long as she can bear. But she does expect to have them eventually. Someone has to fill her talon-prints, right?.

Fighting Skills

Aq considers the best way to fight is to use tooth and claw. She doesn’t possess any other weapon even though the palace is brimming with swords, daggers and all sorts of other dangerous objects. Instead, she prefers the natural way dragons should fight. Aq also enjoys using flames as a means to defeat dragons. The power rush she gets from widening her jaws, white hot flames spilling out of her like a volcano is simply empowering. General Quail actually told her she has some of the most deadly flames he has ever witnessed. Of course, that compliment made Aq’s entire week.

Other than enjoying using her natural fighting skills, Aq likes to dapple into a form of fighting that barely any dragons even consider useful when going into battle. And that is archery. Aq loves archery and always has since she first witnessed it when she was exploring territory outside Frigid Clan. She hasn’t had much practice holding the flimsy wooden arc in her talons but she can at least hit the target if she positions herself close enough.
