A refugee from the ravenous deep; she has laid her share of gods to rest, she has felt the nameless, awful, wondrous pity of the sea, she has felt white poison in her chest, and her wish is to feel sun on her skin before her end.

She did not need help leaving the sea. She does not refuse the help Moana offers to her. She keeps to herself, arms stretched wide, feeling sand and sun. When she wades out, fish flock to her, irresistibly drawn; easy bait for the fisherfolk of Tidelight. Easy dinner.

She likes the feel of moonlight just as well as the sun.
