The heiress of the Elysian Plains is just as shrouded in mystery as the land she governs. An orphan, she was raised by monks in the Twisting Crescendo, where flying masters taught her how to navigate the gale force winds. A skilled fighter, Summer trained daily in the open air rooms of the monastery. She was young, ambitious, and starry-eyed, and she dreamed to make a name for herself as one of the greatest Wind warriors in history. When an opportunity came for her to enlist in the Windsinger's elite army, she packed her few belongings and said tearful goodbyes to the wise dragons that raised her.

As fate would have it, it wasn't long before she came face to face with death. She doesn't remember much except one stark, horrifying image: the furious emperor perched on the mountaintop, its three thrashing heads silhouetted in front of a setting sun. She awoke what felt like eons later. A soft breeze cast a calming wave over her fallen body and she opened her eyes to a field of waving grass. There was nothing around her in any direction.

It was there she met Ares. Hovering over her crouched form, he welcomed her to the Elysian Plains, a realm only visible to those that have nearly lost their lives. As Ares nursed her back to health, Summer began to fall for him and the beautiful, ethereal land she had awoken to. She was drawn to it, tethered as if by some anchor deep in her soul. As part of the exchange Ares made to save her life and bring her to the Elysian Plains, Summer could never return to the world of Sornieth. Though her days of exploration and adventures were over, she devoted her life to starting a new clan with her mate, Ares. She became the heiress of the Elysian Plains, rescuing lost explorers, wayward artists, and fallen warriors.
