He felt warm talons shake him, and he gasped with the force of a dead dragon awakening. Breathing, heart pulsing- and silent again. He was in outer space, floating among the stars, in a haze as he saw a pink flash of what he imagined to be some sort of arcane dieties, ones he had never learned of and probably never would. He was looking at his own body, floating there, before one more hard shake pulled him down, into the clouds and the enormity of earth's crust.

Opening his eyes, he saw not the grey, barren home he knew but another dragon- a yellow and orange-brown tinted dragon, staring back at him. Feathers, just like him, and narrow snout, elegant. His mind felt like it was running a imperial leap a second, but still unable to grasp anything to hold onto in the wind. The other dragon let out a small breath she had been holding before turning, backing up to call out.

"He's awake,.....-Dream, DREAM! He's awake."

A clutter of moving objects and the noise of a swinging door resulted in a small hum and lip bite from the dragon- the skydancer. A skydancer.

He abruptly snapped out of his haze for a moment to edge backwards, taking in the surroundings of the small, rounded wooded structure, as he flinched as throbbing pain started to return with his conciousness. Piles of cloth and an alarming smell of medicine drifted through the air as the other skydancer picked up a cold, sack like thing from the ground. He felt his damp head and wondered if the sack had been on it a second before, or if all of the dampness was caused by his cold sweat. The other skydancer cleared her throat to speak again.

"Hello, I know you probably- you don't know where you are. Me and..a few others, found your freind out in the woodlands. He led us to you- you passed out from your injuries. It's-"

She was abruptly interrupted at he moved to leave from the nest he was in, a gurgling noise of distress coming from his throat as he layed back down again, looking at his wounded body and leg that seemed..off.

"Hhhhh. Hhh..hhhh. hhh.."

He had to find him. Where was Voltage? His freind's, his brothers, face was the first thing he remembered before the name, and he remembered now. Running. Voltage's startled face above him as he layed down, feeling so exhausted and just wanting to shut his eyes for a moment. To accept the bliss, they had made it.

"No, no! Stay down, Dream is getting your freind right now if that's what you're after. I promise you, just stay here. I'm sorry we can't help the pain to much, we tried a bit but some stuff wouldn't go down because of your...."

She clicked her tongue, before becoming a blurr as she was pushed aside by a grey guardian, who fiercely held his freinds talons, wrapping sharp wings around Eclipse, who was feeling sick and relieved to find his freind.

Dream wasn't in sight, as the other skydancer got up to look, leaving the two alone.

Heard. Didn't want to leave you, left healer, hid outide. Are you o okay?

The guardian released his grip on his freind as he rummaged with his small machine. Eclipse's breathing hitched for a moment and he didn't make any effort to let out some sort of reply, falling back on his bed as the guardian smiled with an hazey hope, wanting to reassure the other dragon.

Eclipse looked out at the purple but pure light outside. Was this a dream? Had they really left? Were they safe?
It couldn't be true. Eclipse's sad eyes seemed unsure of themselves, trying to mimic hope but not knowing.

Eclip. Eclip, we are here.
The two looked out at the unfamiliar outside, knowing that here wasn't a place at all, but a path, a new birth.

Eclipse and Voltage were apart of an experiment. They were originally of my pinkerlocke, but I canceled it- however, I kept them and the other pinkerlocke dragons. The others either did not escape or died. (As in other pinkerlocke dragons). I'm trying to develop some sort of lore for each, but basically the leader was trying to combine elements. Both Eclipse and Voltage were trying to be combined with ice. They have lasting scars of frozen residue on them, and both are cold to the touch. Their experiments, being failures primarily, were canceled and both were meant to be put to death after one last try at combining their elements with ice. The two decided the time to act was now, realizing who they were with were not there friends or family, and didn't want them. They used there magic and Voltage's speaking device as a distraction to escape. Both were heavily injured but Eclipse the most.
The reason they cannot speak is because the method of so called combining elements was to get it as close to the heart as possible- and there vocal cords and tongues "had to go" to implant so called "ice element pieces." They treat each other as brothers, and Voltage is bound to Eclipse as a guardian. Eclipse shares his same bond, even if he is not a guardian.

Eclipse is a very worried, scared soul, especially so with his past. He has a cold demeanor with or without the freezing skin, and often shrinks away or doesn't make eye contact with strangers, although he acts as the elder towards Voltage, standing tall and protective over the other dragon. Voltage is even more protective towards his freind, even if less worried he'd be hurt. Eclipse is a very tall and lanky dragon, not muscled at all but swift and agile. His preferred weapon would be a reaper like blade or other curved blade. He isn't very skilled at magic, but very smart and meaningful with it.
