 Sergei is, to say the least, a mess most of the time. He's holed up in his laboratory almost constantly, and only exits for food and to gather materials for his experiments. His experiments are not in one category but rather scattered; chemistry, biology, anatomy, etc. Sergei dabbles in a little bit of everything. He is also an engineer and builds things, like the steampunk wings he wears around. He can make anything he might need, and fix anything that might be broken. Sergei has a bit of a knack for building and repairing things, however he does not help other clan members if they need it. He will only help members of the council or older clan members with seniority, if asked and paid. Sergei also, much to the clan's dismay, will use live animals in his experiments. He mostly uses birds, as they're easy to catch and run tests on. All of the birdskulls he wears are the bones of the birds he's experimented on. Most of the clan finds this disturbing, not because he wears them (as half the clan dons birdskulls), but because of what he did to the animals before killing them and wearing their bones as trophies, or possibly failed experiments. Now, just because he is known as an alchemist and (probable) mad scientist in the clan, he is not THE clan's alchemist. When Sergei first arrived, the council assigned him alchemy as he mentioned that was his passion, but after nearly killing Coral and Spinel in a "freak accident", his duty was quickly removed. The council made a deal with the shady Bogsneak that he could continue his experiments if he did not involve or harm anyone in the clan, and if he lived on the outskirts of their territory. Sergei readily agreed, as he prefers solitude to work on his experiments. So, as agreed, Sergei lives on the outskirts of the clan's territory, on a little island near Plague's territory, the Scarred Wasteland, or otherwise known to Sergei as home. He works on his alchemy, potions, necromancy, and other varied experiments day and night and only pauses to sleep. Sergei has had a few concerning mishaps, like his roof being on fire from a failed potion, but he has managed to take care of everything by himself. He's hardly considered a part of the clan, apart from the few members visiting him to ask a favor or the rowdy kids harassing him or snooping on him. But the almost uninterrupted solitude comforts Sergei, and so he lives in peace, or at least what he considers peace.
