Primordial head of Hunting & Gathering and Confidant of the Queen
Gryphem oversees all hunting and gathering expeditions, specializing in traps and large game. He excels in every field as the Gathering head, however, and is willing to get his claws dirty to accompany at least one expedition a day. The Mage Aelin has taught him to enhance his hunting skills with Shadow magic. They seem to spend a lot of time together.
He often acts as a consultant of Essyria, where he is allowed back in her private chambers for long discussions about topics the clan members can only speculate about. He and Malus are never inside at the same time, however, because of their mutual distaste for the other.
