Vul took refuge with the clan long ago, seeking sanctuary from a life bereft of love or peace. She keeps her secrets like the blood in her veins, so none among the clan know what it is that she was running from, only that whatever it was beat her within an inch of life and left lasting, ghastly scars no beast could ever make. Not even Musa knows the full story, having gathered only a little from the frantic, nearly unconscious dragon when she came to her.

The truth... is sinister. Suffice to say the valley is in grave danger by harboring this fugitive of the Light. For now Vul hides away deep in the twisting Cistern, speaking to few and gathering strength until the promised day arrives.
