Edith'atal-Shalrath is Bachemius's mate. It is unclear which one is more dominant in their partnership as this wild female can regularly be seen attacking, biting and clawing at the bigger male. She often puts him in his place with a harsh screech or a quick bite, but never draws blood or causes any real harm to him.

Her ferocity is unmatched in the lair and she keeps the young ones in line with an iron-claw rule. That said however, she has great tenderness for the hatchlings and makes a good stern maternal figure.
