BIOGRAPHY
"Come, and be amazed, as Madame Csilla tells your fortune! What will she see in her magic crystal pearl? What secrets will she bestow upon you, the humble viewer? Step right up, and see for yourself!" Born in the Wispwillow Grove deep in the Shadow Territories, games and mystery came naturally to little Csilla. The youngest of her siblings and the last to leave the nest, she was not spirited away to the vast unknown, no, but lovingly handpicked by the curator of a traveling circus that made its home on the edge of a small Nature clan, under the shadiest boughs of a weeping willow tree whose edges sparkled and glowed at night. Born with a fantastic imagination and a knack for ferreting information out of unsuspecting dragons, Zaïre guessed correctly that the young Pearlcatcher would flourish as a teller of fortunes. The first night, her booth was a hit, though she was but a hatchling. It was all fun and games below the tent, though Zaïre had her way of organizing her band of circus folk. Csilla soon learned that she-literally-lived an enchanted life. But it didn't matter. She had Zaïre and Hawthorn, the Ringmistress' husband, to look after her, and the other dragons were kind enough and welcoming to boot. Csilla had never felt more at home than she did beneath the joyous tent, a part of the tireless, endless circus. |

Personality Bright and charming, Csilla has the unique ability to charm information out of her patrons, making it seem as though her magical crystal pearl really does see all. It doesn't, of course, but Csilla delights in pretending, as any young dragon with a playful mind does. Even if her "predictions" are wrong, her silver tongue will placate even the most skeptical dragons. For this reason, she is often the first to get between an argument, helping Zaïre, whom she views as her adoptive mother, smooth out any troubles between the performers. |
