***TyeDye is very unique. Born to Plague parents in the wandering contagion, he did not at all fit in. For one, his colors made him stand out amongst his many clan members. His parents tried very hard to explain this away by claiming he fell into The Wyrmwound, but unfortunately his chipper sunny disposition and over-energetic personality didn't fool anyone. He loves all things colorful, happy, and bright. He hates sadness, anger and contagion as well as the many other things the Plague Flight seem to be all about. As soon as he was able, he fled the contagion to travel Sornieth spreading cheer wherever he goes. He fancies himself the dragon equivalent of the Easter bunny and loves to gift others with brightly colored eggs and chocolate.
History
Legends date the tale of the Easter Bunny back to its origins as a European pagan tradition that celebrated the goddess of spring, Eostre (also written Eastre and conveniently pronounced like the Easter holiday). Worshippers held a festival in honor of the goddess around the spring equinox, which meant the party date shifted slightly each year, similar to the Easter of today.
