Biography
Kaen, the son of The Evening Sun, bright as the flame of a midsummer fire, courageous as the wolf of the night and kind as the mother of a dove. He was born in the deep ice caverns of the Southern Ice Fields, but did not feel like he belonged with the cold and hostile brothers of his. His heart craved something found elsewhere. When the clouds covered the Sun from shining to the frozen fields, he felt like something was missing, and realized he is not whole, in fact, he is only a fraction of something more important. So he flew, and flew, and flew, until he reached the warm high skies. Although his wings were tired and his body aching and shivering, he felt finished. The Sun shone on him and he bathed his body in the undying light. He was the son of the Sun, the light was his soul and the warmth was his mind. He was finally complete.[/size]
Personality-wise Kaen is warm and open-minded. He is low-profiled and quiet, but enjoys a little fun and isn’t afraid to show his emotions. Kaen is a spirit of new possibilities, celebration and thankfulness and he spreads those emotions to the dragons around him. He is calm and curious but doesn’t react with extreme emotions.

"Kaen did not remember when the harsh noon light shifted to a soft, warm glow. He must have fallen asleep. It was a sorrowful things to do, miss the ever-changing sun. Soon enough it would be night with nothing left besides a silver reflection. Kaen stretched, and shifted to better see his likeness. The sun was low to the ground, lined with the rolling hills and bamboo stalks of the Reedcleft Ascent. The clouds were starting to turn from gilded snow into soft wisps with light shades of pinks and yellows. The winds pushed the clouds, clearing the canvas. All that was left was all that mattered, the sun."
