What a lucky hatch <3. Davery is the portmanteau of my name and my husband's name, and Davery the bogsneak just happened to hatch in our wedding colors. Each tier of our wedding cake was designed to look like a different book: one mint green, one sky blue, one pale purple. I've dressed Davery like a groom, in honor of my husband, and showered him in purple flower petals, like the wisteria boughs we got married under in our outdoor ceremony. He's holding a calla lily, same as I had in my bouquet.
