Lichen

Lighthearted and fun, Lichen is one of Clan Opolis's best protectors. He is very respected by Spindle, and, in turn, by Alpha. Lichen found himself in Lillia's territory while training. Alpha and Romi were in the forest playing when they were ambushed by a Bamboo Phytocat. Spindle heard Alpha's cries of help from their cave, but by the time Spindle got there, Lichen had already slain the cat and laughing with Alpha. Spindle took him back to Lillia and Pathos and told them what he had done, and suggested he become one of Opolis's protectors. Lillia and Pathos offered him a position of high esteem, captain of the guard of the clan, and he graciously accepted. Lichen is playful and childlike, which makes him a great playmate for Alpha. He has been helping Romi come out of her shell, which is one of the reasons Spindle is so fond of him. Spindle hopes to one day mate with him to create many more strong clan members. Lichen finds amusement in teasing Korsha, trying to convince her to keep some of the junk in the hoard in an attempt to frustrate her. Lichen's visits to the hoard are one of the highlights of Linden's day, despite the fact he sometimes likes to rearrange things while Linden isn't looking. Lichen is the loving father of Arcos, whom he had with Persephone, and best friend of Ivan.
