"You're safe with me, friend." Wisteria hadn’t come from Moonvale Heights originally. She didn’t remember much from her time there, but she did remember that the forest around her clan had such wonderful lavender flower fields. Wisteria remembered watching them. They danced along in the breeze and, in her eyes, there wasn’t a more peaceful sight. It wasn’t long, though, before young Wisteria was displaced. Her parents wanted her to live a life elsewhere on her own. She was of age when they had made this decision, but she was still a freshly new dragon. Her whole trip to Moonvale Heights consisted of nervous thoughts and knots in her stomach. But there was some hope, though. Maybe she would find beautiful flowers. As soon as she got to Moonvale Heights, she was greeted by one dragon. She was an imperial like her, which relaxed her a bit. She greeted Wisteria warmly, saying her name was Fleur. Fleur gave her a very quick run down of who she was and what this clan was about. The general gist of it was that Fleur was one of the four founders of Moonvale Heights, everyone has a role to play in the clan, they are known for their large vegetables, and that a sizeable space was cleared out for her and her things. Wisteria spluttered out an awkward thank you and followed close behind Fleur on their way to her space. It took a couple days after that, but Wisteria had built her own quite large tent some space away from everyone. As an Imperial dragon, it felt wrong to be so close like the other dragons had their tents. Because of this and her overall shyness, it took her a few weeks before she met anyone. Another imperial, Roan, had noticed the flowers she had planted around her tent. They had a light green glow around them which made him curious as to if there was a fungus she was using to make them glow. From there, Roan had introduced her to the role of a Tender as he was one himself. A tender tended to all types of food that the clan grew and plants that surround the clan. Before Wisteria had the chance to think it over, Roan showed her the lovely but small lavender fields only a few minutes from her tent. Some tears formed in her eyes, but she wiped them away quickly. Lavender flowers made her feel safe and loved and if she could cultivate them as a job she would take it, so she accepted his offer. The lavender field behind her gave her the determination she needed to make this new clan home. (Bio commissioned from the lovely winterflowers) |
