The Lore Keeper

Ah, greetings! My name is Batholomew. I've the esteemed honor or keeping the lore for the Sundrinker Clan. A rather unusual job for a dragon like me, aye? You might doubt, but I know every tome in these archives by feel and scent. Why, I've likely half the archive memorized! Sit down for a while, will you? There's much to tell.

The Sovereigns
The Sovereigns were the First Born, those created by the gods to protect and guide the clan. They have no mother, no father, and no family but the clan to call their own. Their wisdom is infinite, and we lead by and through their enlightened examples. Few know their names, and most call them by their titles: Deathbringer, Warmonger, Skybreecher, Manasinger, Stargazer, and others. 		The Culture
We are thinkers and diplomats first and foremost. We do not seek violence and destruction like those born from plague, and we do not struggle to survive like the dragons from the frozen tundra. We are comfortable here, and so we have turned our attention to a higher learning. While other dragons seek to master the arcane, we look to the heavens and wonder about the larger questions: What is war? What can we learn from hunger? What is the life of one worth, put against the lives of others? We ask the questions of how, why, and when. We are the dreamers who long to make our visions of utopia reality.
