Biography
Very lucky, has hatched two multi-gaze dragons, a wildclaw, and an imp all within three hatches, all of them being one after the other
Morphinae, the daughter of Glowworm and Angelic, as well as the younger sister of Apatura. A family of leaders, though Morphinae would never be one, not that she minded that. Morphinae has always known that she wouldn't be the next leader, it would be her older sister, Apatura, and she was fine with that. She would much rather spend her life free from responsibility and fly among the winds of the Windswept Plateau. She was the happy-go-lucky type of girl who didn't care for work, not that she couldn't do it. Morphinae is actually quite the capable dragon and was an A+ student in her school years.
Shortly after she and Apatura reached an age where the crown could be passed to them, their mother seemed to become more... angry... than usual. Sure, she had always seemed off as they grew up, always short tempered and an outcast, but she had never been this bad. The two sisters learned shortly after that their mother had been infected with the Shade a short time ago, and that she truly had been kind at one time, in fact, she had been angelic. Though during adulthood Morphinae's mother tended to stay away from her, she absolutely hated Apatura. Whenever she got the chance she seemed to berate her, and no one was willing to defend the young Skydancer against the large Imperial. No one except for Glowworm of course. Glowworm, Morphinae's father, was the light of her life. He never yelled at her, never made her feel like she was one way or the other. He was the only one who would stand up to Angelic, told her to stop when she got out of hand. He never seemed to be afraid even though he should have been.
It happened. The Wings left Angelic. I watched as one drifted apart from the rest and began to fly next to Apatura. Then another, and another, and another, until all of them were surrounding her in a fluttering rainbow of color. Apatura seemed... scared. At first, I couldn't figure out why, but then, Angelic's dark eyes narrowed and the shadows along her fur seemed to grow more restless. Angelic lunged at Apatura, lunged at my sister, her daughter. I froze. I didn't want to see what would happen next but I couldn't look away either. Angelic attacked Apatura but, before she made contact, she stopped abruptly. There, right in front of her, was a small butterfly, inches away from her claws. Everyone knew the rumors, knew what would happen if you touched one. Most said you would die a horrific death, that your body would be left to fertilize the lovely gardens of the clan, but Morphinae had heard other rumors. Rumors that your body would contort and twist, your fur and scales shifting into something new... a butterfly. Angelic was lucky she had managed to stop in time.
A few days later, her sister left. Disappeared, leaving her newly born son, Charaxes, behind. Soon after the clan ran Angelic off, and Morphinae was alone with her father, nephew, and her daughter.
I think Angelic is hunting Apatura. I can't let my mother kill my sister, it wouldn't be right. I'm going to go find Apatura and bring her home where she may have at least some protection from the horror that Angelic is.

Uh-oh, looks like this graceful Skydancer wandered a little too far from her home lair (311744, Milohilay) while tryng to find her sister, and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!
