Aerie

Mellow and sweet, Aerie is tasked with baby sitting the younger dragons. She doesn't really mind, even if it is exhausting work. Her charges are always fun and interesting, keeping every day bright! She doesn't remember much at all about her birth clan. Only the smell of hot sand and ozone. Maybe it is for that reason that summer is an oddly melancholic season for her. Her mind keeps drifting away to foggy, indistinct places that she can't quite remember.

Aerie also serves as something of a pre-school teacher. While taking her charges outside the clan home for walks and field trips (not always to actual fields either), she helps them to learn the basics of foraging. What is good to eat and what isn't, and where to find the tastiest bits. She takes great pride in watching her young students learn to feed themselves. It doesn't hurt that it makes her job that much easier.

Though she is usually perfectly happy to lend a helping claw, Aerie is also a firm believer in experience as the best teacher. And learning that there are consequences to their actions is one of the most important lessons a dragonet can learn.

She isn't much of a flyer or fighter. Unless one of her charges comes under threat, Aerie's first course of action is always to flee or back down.
